We Dig Detroit
A full-service, 8(a) and HUBZone certified construction contractor, headquartered in Detroit, Michigan. Specializing in site development, infrastructure, and more.
Our mission is to give back to the city who has given us so much. We are dedicated to serving the Detroit-area by hiring locals, revitalizing metro Detroit, and being involved in the community. We are proud to call the Comeback City “home.”
At RBV, our crew is our family, which is why we place safety as a top priority. Our employees are trained in both job-site safety, CPR, first aid, and equipment operation. We boast an Experience Modification Rating of 0.70.
Our founder, Rodolfo “Rudy” B. Villarreal spent his childhood in Sabinas Hidalgo in the Mexican state of Nuevo León. After moving his family to the United States, Rudy continues to live by the values he learned from his family: honesty, integrity, and hard work. We are a proud Certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) by the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council (MMSDC) and an MDOT Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE).
We are a certified federal contractor and have proudly served the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Air Force, National Guard Bureau, and General Services Administration. We host a single bonding contract capacity of $7.5 to $10 million and an aggregate bonding level of $15 to $20 million.
We primarily hire Detroit and HUBZone residents in order to contribute to Detroit’s comeback. We understand the impact of local economic prosperity, and believe this starts with hiring local talent.
